    My New Koala Cabinet

So my awesome husband drove round trip 360 miles to pick up my new dualmate plus iv cabinet for my sewing room. It has the outback leaf (although the one I got with my table is only 15" instead of the 23" that are now sold with the current koala cabinets).

I have ordered a custom insert from dream world for the cabinet so I will soon be able to place it flush with the rest of the cabinet.

In addition my new cutting table arrives tomorrow and will go in the empty corner. It is height adjustable so I will be able to make it higher for cutting and other work while standing and shorter for when I want to expand my working surface for when I'm fmq.

    I'm so excited!!!

Hooray! It's so much easier to create when you are set up for it. Love the quilt on the wall, by the way.

You will love it. It is so much easier when your machine is set down in and your working surface flush

You're going to love FMQing when your machine is flush and you have all that space to keep the quilt flat on. I really like the lamp over your chair; looks like it puts out a lot of light where you need it most.

The lamp near my sewing machine is from Home Depot and is called Hampton Bay 66 in Satin Nickel Floor Lamp. The one behind the stuffed chair is one my husband bought 11 years ago at American Furniture Warehouse in Colorado. I'm not even sure of the company...
