You have been very wise in the use of your space. Amazing how much you are able to have in there and it does not appear to be cluttered or cramped. Great job in creating this lovely work place. Thank you for sharing.
Desiderata (Max Ehrmann) - Walk placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.

My kids are grown and it's just me and my husband and we don't really have company since we live so far from town that I've been thinking about storing my dining room table (we never sit at it, we sit at the kitchen table) in one of my outbuildings and putting up the long arm there. It has perfect lighting and lots of room. Would that look horrible if someone out of the blue showed up at my house?
Who cares what someone out of the blue thinks! Use your space the way that works for you. I have a friend whose studio (not quilting) is in the dining room.

Love your room and your avatar pic. I have a little female schnauzer that loves to play with her toys in my room while I'm quilting. Again, your room is so nice, sure looks like a lot of supplies!!

Great organization! I know it is fun to work in that room. The quilt on your long arm is beautiful too.
