What a wonderful room that is. A place to get lost in for sure. I would hang all the wonderful thread on the walls & have many projects lined out on the tables. Can I come play at your house? LOL

Love that your sewing machines are in front of a window. My sewing machine is in front of a window also, but the bedroom also contains 3 big furniture pieces, so it's kind of tight. No room for a nice sewing room.

Great room for you to work in. I too put my sewing machines in front of my window so I could look out over the yard thereby resting my eyes from close work. Is that a Featherweight sitting in a wooden table by the white cabinet? Did you happen to make that desk it (whether a FW or some other black machine) sits in? Nice that it sits level with the desk top.

My sewing room (family room) was very dark too. The windows face north and east but east has a house just beyond it. I took an idea from a decorator I knew. I put mirrors on the walls where the sun landed, so it would bounce light into the darker corners. It even helps at night when I turn the light on. I used the same idea all around my house since modular homes tend to be darker because of smaller windows.
