What a perfect sewing room....that window is so nice for you......and it is so clean and organized.....think it will stay that way for long?

Very nice room. I really like your sewing table. The machine does not fit tight in there, does that cause any problems?

I have an old computer table for my sewing machine too. It looks just like yours, only much more worn. My husband worked for the school board before retiring, and we got this at a sale of old school furniture for $5. The machine does not fit tight, but that has never been an issue. It has been the perfect table for me and I have it in front of the window just like you. I LOVE the quilt you're working on that is on your ironing board!

Thank you to everyone for the kind responses. I have a touch of OCD so yes the room does stay pretty clean, I try to keep things picked up and tidy. I also love seeing other quilters rooms, I always get great ideas from you all.

Great sewing room. I considered bringing mine upstairs but decided to leave in the basement for now. Too many things to be moved.

Great job. May the quilts just flow out of your room.

A terrific sewing space! Lots of great storage, and natural light too. I do hope you are able to protect the fabrics from the sunlight.

There is so much to consider when moving your "quilting space"....and so much WORK involved! I just moved to a new house...quilting space much more limited...will figure it all out...but love what you did with yours!
