You have done a wonderful job. I see you live in Spain. Do you have an Ikea there? I adore that little art.

Wonderful, beautiful space! Love everything you've done; it must be a joy just to go in there, look around, and then create!
I have those Billy bookcases and love them. |
It looks great.

Wow, that is a really lovely room. I like all of the white furniture; it makes everything look so bright and clean. Best wishes using your new room!

Many thanks for your lovely comments :o
I've seen clearly that I have to look at my ugly cupboard with another eyes! Maybe it's not so bad, after all :-) I especially like Margarita. ;-) very sterile....are you sure you sew in there? LOL... I got all relaxed and warm fuzzy feeling during your tour... Loved your idea of the pincushion bowl. You can also make a pincushion from a little orphan block... or from some scraps that you're using for testing/practicing a new technique. Pincushions are lovely, useful and fun to make, and they are great gift complements! I thought I was alone with this fever, but one day I found this post http://crazymomquilts.blogspot.com.e...ns-galore.html from Crazy Mom Quilts and I had to smile... it's contagious :-) I keep looking for an excuse to buy the turquoise cart from Ikea...so far, I can't find a way to shoehorn it into my sewing room I see you live in Spain. Do you have an Ikea there? I will update the post when I have some news. Thanks again to everyone  |
Wow,I like your sewing room. Thanks for sharing.

You did a great job with your sewing room. Enjoy sewing in it.

Looks like a very inviting room to me!

I, too, love the white look, very crisp and clean with your accents of color. Turquoise is my favorite color! Thanks for posting all of the links too. Very helpful. Perhaps you could use those Command hooks to make a little gallery of miniquilts on rhe cabinet. Looking at things that you love might change your view (both literally and otherwise). It's a space begging for a little turquoise + too!
So, enjoy and...enjoy your sewing!! |
PS just wanted to add that I love your pincushion idea -about how you use a few scraps at the end of a project. You could do that with mug rugs, too. I looked at the link of the other pincushions and bookmarked a few of her tutorials. Thanks again!
