It looks great. I would love to have a cabinet.

We have solar screens on our windows, but I still try to keep the fabric away from the windows.

that looks great. I need to explore and find a place in the craft room where I can do that too. Right now fabric isin bins which isn't all that bad considering there is a lot more than fabric packed up ....

Looks wonderful! Don't you just love it?

thanks ladies, I do love it and yes, I enjoy just looking at it. The cabinets are the old kitchen cabinets out of the kitchen when we did the remodel a few years back. My sewing room is small but I make it work.

From my experience (and I'll bet others would agree), you will not have the FULL AMOUNT OF TIME ever available to do this PROJECT in one setting. For me - it took weeks to get the job DONE. Throughout those weeks, I did spend about 2 full days working on the fabric but otherwise it was a few hours here - a couple of hours there - 30 minutes when I could sneak it in. Hope you get the picture.

Step by step - 30 minutes by 30 minutes...getting started is the hard part.

KAY NICE job - I could shop in your 'store' any day!

great job and I know it was time consuming...I'm trying to do the same.

Quite often the local fabric stores will give you the bolts that fabric comes on and you can cut them down to any size you want- and they are free. Just ask them for the think bolt holders (there are thick ones that are about 3/4" thick and the ones that are just a heavy piece of cardboard- these are the ones you want). Most often they will save them for you for a few days until you can get to pick them up.
