Thank you for sharing - got a couple of great ideas from that one. One of my downfalls is that I am also a "window" person, always trying to put my "best foot" to a window - and I only have one window!! :-) Also I happened to click on her fabric painting - and some neat ideas. AW, she can keep her room, I just want her organization skills.

I am a follower of her blog and was able to watch some of this progress. We communicated about her thread board and when I told her I wanted to do something similar, she told me to be prepared for the cost of the board and pegs. Well, I haven't done it yet, but I like it so much that I think I'm ok with the "about $100" it cost her. It is beautiful. I think I could be productive there! :-)

Love it! I wouldn't mind a studio that big, and her layout. I would put the fabric behind cabinets, but that is me. I would take everything except the fish tank. Don't like anyone staring at me while I work.

oh my goodness what a room. Love the wall of thread. I had mine on the wall but took down to paint. Wonderful cabinets and storage.

I wish I had room for a fish tank in my room. Actually I kinda miss Charlie my DGD's california gopher snake. I watched him grow from a 10 inch size to almost 4 feet. I wouldn't mind fish either I had fancy guppies once a long time ago . Who knows maybe someday. LOL

I just emailed to several women in my Boulder, Colorado quilt guild about this quilting room...... we all love your organization. Are you sure that you do any sewing or creating in this room....it's just too perfect to create a mess of any kind, right?!! I have high respect for you!!

Well, currently it looks like a Santa's sack worth of fabric bits exploded in there - when I'm actually working on a piece it never looks like that. At the end of the project it looks like that. Briefly. lol

doesn't that just make you sick LOL when i see all the great spaces on the blog, i just wish they all came with grid style floorplans. I am still working on how to arrange my new studio.

I just wish I had a tad more room :-) . It envy the ladies with these wonderful rooms but am happy for them too.

That is a nice sewing studio! Yeah i am a little jealous. I have a nice sized room, but it's not organized as nice as that.i try, but my projects keep getting in the way! LOL i suppose that even if i had a nice big room w/o out all the odd corners like mine, it would probably still be in a mess cuz i would be in there! HAHa
