I store my smaller dies upright on a shelf. For my eight long dies, I found two small racks (for drying or storing dish plates upright). They are next to each other and I lay the upright dies lengthwise across both the racks. It is happy and inexpensive .
BTW, I like the idea of using labels to indicate the strip widths. |
They say you are supposed to store your dies standing on the edges.

julia9967, thanks for the tip. I have built in shelves on one wall in my sewing room that will be perfect for my dies. I just got a Go Baby so I only have a few dies. At least I can keep them easy to access and won't have to buy anything to store them.

Thank you all for the feedback! Now off to see what I can set up.

Thanks for all who replied to my question. I had a feeling I was storing them the wrong way but didn't know why they needed to be upright. Tks :)

Before I sold mine I stored my dies in one of those upright plexiglass folder racks.

I have never lived in one place 17 years. I do hope to live in our new home that long. Well done on organizing your room after floor installation. Looks lovely
