Ironing Board/Thread Organizer
3 Attachment(s)
I told my husband I needed an ironing board and thread organizer, and this is what he came up with. I think you all can agree; he is, and it is, "The Bomb"! I can now iron all my quilt tops with ease and my threads are all labeled and dust free. I can't think of anything else a girl could ask for (well, maybe a new machine).

That is fabulous!

WOW, that is fantastic. Hope you make him his favorite dish for dinner. Do you ever rent him out?? :)
Wow! I'm so jealous!

I love this! Did your hubby build the cabinet, or did you buy this and then he created the rest? If you bought it, where did you get it? Very nice!!
Love it!!!!!
Wow that is fantastic. Do you loan him out?
Wow, he is a keeper for sure. That is fantabulous !!
He made the entire thing by hand! He is a keeper!
Wonderful job! I love everything about it! I also noticed the small cart on the end with your iron. That is great, too!

If only every husband was that creative. It takes my fiancé months to hang a simple shelf or picture....I'm so jealous!!

Great idea. Wish I had the room for something like that but I'm now starting to get stuffed as it is. Need more thread racks so having to go with the pegboard method once again. Making my own with leftover pegboard and 1 x 2's. Had my neighbor cut a 3/8 groove down the 1 x 2's, sanded them down and started painting them this past Sunday but its been raining ever since so can't finish them as I'm working out of my rear garage. My thread company (Connecting Threads) has changed the shape of their spools so they no longer fit my rolling drawer.
Tell you hubby "nice job" and he might want to draw up his plans to sell as he did a professional job from what I can see. |
What a wonderful idea, and a great husband to do this for you.
That is GREAT!!

This is so awesome, now if I could find a man to do this for me. You are lucky.
