KFC sides containers

Anyone else saving those cute little plastic containers that side dishes come in at KFC? I've found them very useful to small items like pins, buttons, etc. and it saves space in a landfill someplace. DH is using them for his nails, tacks, etc.

Well, I don't eat at KFC, but I save every single cute little container I come across... I think I need a 12-step program! You know what other ones are great - the containers that Land O'Lakes butter/margerine comes in. They are plastic and kind of oblong in shape, so they hold lots of different types of items! I also love the little rectangular plastic baby food containers. And the plastic containers that powdered drink mix comes in (the Great Value ones are rectangular, most others are round). See - I told you I need a program to overcome this addiction!

I also save all kinds of containers. The little round ones grape tomatoes come in I use for a thread catcher, the ones powdered drinks come it I use to carry my rotary cutter to class and another one for all the small things, like small clippers, seam ripper, extra bobbin and thread.

I love this thread!! I can't wait to see what others are using containers for. :)

They are the perfect size for a sloppy joe sandwich. I make up a batch of it (Not So Sloppy Joes is my favorite!), and fill up the KFC containers (once cooled down), then freeze them. Anytime I want a sloppy joe, I just take one out, defrost it in the container at 50%, heat until desired temperature, and plop it on top of a bun, perfect fit.....YUM!
