I love your idea. Thank you.

These are popping up on the ends of clothing racks in stores to keep people from getting hurt. Also, one day I was in a dept store and the janitor had a tennis ball on the end of a mop handle. He was walking around wiping the black shoe marks from the white floor. Worked like a charm!
Wish I had the clear canisters all these tennis balls came in.....

Great idea. Will have to file it away for future use when we install laminate floors.

We use the balls on walkers in nursing homes all the time. They're really great!

As a retired school teacher I have used many a tennis ball. The custodians do not do well as keeping the floors well waxed or buffed. so ALL the chairs STICK to the floor. all 27 or so of them. Imagine the noise of 27 chairs scraping across a poorly fnished floor. It took a long time but i finally collected enought tennis balls to go on all the chairs. When i retired the newer teachers fought over them!

My sewing stool is 60 yrs old, just like the Singer cabinet it goes with, and my Singer 15-91 (and I am that old also!). I love the stool, but its wooden legs like to scratch our laminate floor. The felt pads that we tried to use always came off too quickly, even after my husband glued them on. So, I did something else, something I learned from a church custodian who was tired of table legs scratching up his newly waxed floors. Tennis balls! See the pic. They look funny, but they're working fine!
