My husband & I share.

I share my husband's passion for collecting old tools while he shares mine of anything sewing/quilting. So he saw this and had to get it for me for my sewing excursions away from home. Way too cool.

bjrusty 11-20-2013 09:33 AM

neat , where did he buy it? Barb

Stitch124 11-20-2013 10:04 AM

Just wondering if his name is STANLEY.??!! What a sweet hubby!!! I've been trying to get my DH to be more 'globally aware' of my hobby too, but most of the time he just says for me to get what I need, as long as it doesn't cost too much. If he were to do something that thoughtful, my jaw would drop to the floor!

Neesie 11-20-2013 10:06 AM

I have one of those, for my tools! Warning - don't leave it out in the rain.

StephT 11-20-2013 10:15 AM

That is way cool.

RonieM 11-20-2013 10:27 AM

What an awesome tool box to take on retreats! Great hubby too!

MaryMo 11-20-2013 11:43 AM

not sure which is better -- the carrycase or the husband! You got it great any way you look at it! What a practical idea. I envy you ... and I'm going to be on the lookout for that carrycase.

wolph33 11-20-2013 12:44 PM

very rugged looking.he is a keeper.

Aunt Neicie 11-20-2013 01:19 PM

I forgot to mention, it is on wheels.

Nammie to 7 11-20-2013 03:10 PM

You certainly got a good one -- hubby and tool kit! Those guys can be real gems can't they?

Podunk Princess 11-20-2013 03:17 PM

I love the way husband's think.....no hassle about buying something "girlie" at the checkout counter!

coastienest 11-20-2013 07:26 PM

Sweet husband. He is a keeper

mamajack3 11-20-2013 07:44 PM

He's a keeper

trivia42 11-20-2013 08:52 PM

Good idea! I love the muti-tiers for your FW and fabrics/notions!

beachbug 11-21-2013 05:14 AM

I used one of those for years. I wore it out. I took a June Tailor mat with the ironing surface on one side and put on top of the tool box and had a table beside my chair.
You are going to love it.

mighty 11-21-2013 07:11 AM

What a great husband!!!! That is really cool!

Jingle 11-21-2013 07:38 AM

Good for you. Looks very useful.

mjhaess 11-21-2013 10:25 AM

Great organizer....

quiltsRfun 11-21-2013 10:51 AM

Guess I should have DH look into this for me. He works for Stanley. Looks like a great portable sewing room.

DebbE 11-21-2013 10:58 AM

Now THAT'S a gift that keeps on giving - love that there is room at the bottom for your Featherweight, and that everything is so well organized.

grannie cheechee 11-21-2013 11:11 AM

I'd like one. Not the husband, but the case. Maybe for Christmas. I think I'll tell my SIL, and he'll take my DH to get it.

mjmachin 11-21-2013 12:53 PM

Congratulations!! I have a hubby and tool box exactly like yours!! He is always on the lookout for things that will be handy in my sewing room. Nice tool box and wonderful husband!! I will keep both!!

caspharm 11-21-2013 02:06 PM

Very cool!

tessagin 11-21-2013 02:15 PM

Told my husband I didn't want anymore jewelry. I know right? What's the matter with me? Going to show him these photos and just say this is what I want. Have been invited to join a small sewing/quilting group and this would be perfect and also for classes at the LQS once in awhile.

tessagin 11-21-2013 02:17 PM

What I want for Christmas is this and only this and maybe few gift cards I can use anywhere!

kay carlson 11-21-2013 02:20 PM

I am so happy for you! Your husband is very thoughtful and you have a nice unit in which to transport your machine and tools! Sew on!

Grandma Cindy 11-21-2013 06:20 PM

Where can it be purchased?

Monika 11-21-2013 06:51 PM

love that!!!!

Aunt Neicie 11-22-2013 05:12 AM

I think they can be purchased at any hardware or even on line. He picked this up at tool auction.

Chasing Hawk 11-22-2013 06:27 AM

What a neat idea! I can see where this is really useful for taking classes or on a retreat.

janiesews 11-22-2013 08:37 AM

Great organization for going to a class or retreat!

quiltingeileen 11-22-2013 08:40 AM

Your honey is certainly a keeper! The case is awesome too.

GamaKathy 11-22-2013 09:44 AM

Could this be the same one? It's called "Stanley 3-in-1 rolling workshop" $36.97

Can be found at www.Homedot.com and you go to Stanley. Called 3-in1 rolling workshop for $36.97

GamaKathy 11-22-2013 09:46 AM

Sorry site is www.HomeDepot.com

DonnaC 11-22-2013 11:05 AM

Well, yippee skippy... the Home Depot across from my office has 7 of these in stock... guess where I'm going after work? :)

solstice3 11-22-2013 01:11 PM

Great gift from DH!

Pam S 11-22-2013 01:58 PM

What a thoughtful guy! Tell him he's singlehandedly created a run on Stanley tool boxes at Home Depot. There's an amazing amount of storage there. Tell me, how heavy is it to lift into the back of the car with the FW and all your supplies?

Grandma Cindy 11-22-2013 07:37 PM

Thank you for the info, Cindy
