You may be new to quilting but i know you're not new to fabrics! What did you do with fabrics before you began quilting last august? It's all so beautiful!!!! I'm going to organize my room again so that i can be like you when i grow up.

weatheread 07-05-2012 07:06 AM

Looks like a quilt shop

vintagemotif 07-05-2012 08:19 AM

I would call that "little sewing space" at studio. That is an AWESOME space. I love your quilts!

nygal 07-06-2012 06:53 AM

Wow..I am impressed!!! Your creative space looks like a real quilt shop!! Love all the colors.

quiltjoey 07-06-2012 06:11 PM

"I'm loving it!" The paint holders look like they could be used for rolled up fat quarters, maybe? Do you mind sharing where you purchased them? I'm been quilting for only 3.5 years and I can't hardly use a rotary cutter much less put together a beautiful, tumbling blocks quilt top!!! Way to go!

susieque1960 07-07-2012 06:04 AM

Amazing space! Love it all. Now why didn't I think to bring in a tv? Definitely a thought for Christmas :) What do you do with the acrylic paints?

OHSue 07-07-2012 04:34 PM

Just since August!?! I have been sewing since I was 12 and don't have that much stash! You are sooo oraganized, looks great.

Melrose 07-07-2012 05:00 PM

needles3thread 07-07-2012 05:43 PM

I think we should all pool our money & buy you some thread...........looks like you don't have much!!!!!

katesnanna 07-07-2012 06:14 PM

Wow!!! Did you inherit a quilt shop? I'd ask for a play date only I live too far away. I just love bright quilts.

BTW, now I've cleaned up the drool, welcome to the board from Brisbane Australia.

Carol34446 11-10-2012 01:07 PM

Great room, and your so lucky to have so much space. Great quilts too.

mountain deb 11-10-2012 05:43 PM

Welcome to the crazy life of a quilter. Please take some pics in a year or two. Are you going to contain your quilt'n stuff to that room?

Dal Lady 11-11-2012 03:19 PM

Only August---I sense an over achiever here. It's a wonderful room would make an quilter envious. Love the quilts. I'd say keep up the good work but it just seems redundant. lol

Shirlrh 11-11-2012 04:58 PM

Very gorgeous! Wonderful quilts.

quiltingme 11-12-2012 06:48 PM

What part of Ark? My dad has a resort in Bull Shoals Ark.We visit him and when we do I go to a shop in Flippen Ark to buy fabric. She also does the quilting on long arms. I think she had two in her shop.If your ever in flippen there is an old train depot that they converted into a sm rest and has a soda jerk fountain.Cool Place. I love your room and Hope you enjoy it for many years.God Bless

earthwalker 11-14-2012 01:06 AM

Well...what more can I say....this room and your impressive organisational skills have knocked our collective socks off, not forgetting your obvious talent when putting fabric to machine. Bravo....well done.....You would have the absolute screaming horrors if you walked into our workroom/studio...I have one half for quilting and my husband paints and draws in the other half....the only floor you can see is the "goat tracks" to the windows, doors and of course our chairs. Somewhere in the chaos there's usually a couple of dogs and cats.

lillybeck 11-14-2012 06:56 AM

I have been using a sewing machine for most of my life and I do not have near that supplies you do. You are really serious about this./
