I am hoping my pictures will come through but if they don't I will try to post them tomorrow from work. I got sort of tired of standing up my fabric on the comic boards so I just went with the flow. I feel much better now and really like how the room now looks.

Hi, I was wondering if I could use your image (second from the top) for a printed school project.
Thanks!

love all the fabrics, so organized. You will make some amazing projects in there!

Looks great! Doesn't it feel so good when the clutter is gone and you step back and say - wow, I have nice stuff. Question though, for everyone - I notice in many of the rooms, that the sergers/sewing machine is right up against a wall. How do you sew when the machine and table are like that? I need my work area more of an island style.

Gorgeous room! I often have the same question as you did, Deb. Maybe they pull the machine out when they are working? My sewing machine is currently a foot or so out from the wall in front of a window, but I like it better when I pull it out so it's facing the room and the TV across the living room. Who am I to question people who have such organized places?!

wow, that is so nice. Bet you are enjoying it. Thanks for sharing

I make vinyl graphics, and just love this saying. I MUST remove the one that I've had for a few years (When Life Gives You Scraps Make a Quilt!) for my sewing room. Thank you for the inspiration to get in and get my area cleaned.

You've done a great job of organizing and arranging everything where it's convenient. Your colors are bright and welcoming. I know it makes you want to make something. :) Good work.

Wow, I am so envious. My sewing room is so cluttered I can hardly get in it. Time to get busy.

Hello KSue,

Ahhhhh, this is a fabulous sewing room. I'm loving the red walls.

ging10ging 05-07-2014 03:51 PM

Beautiful I love it. How long did it take you and what did you use to get the fabric to stand up? It looks so neat and bright a lovely place to work now. Sue

Oh, it's so cheerful. Your curtains are darling. And it's so tidy that it makes me want to jump in and start sewing something! Very inspiring.

Eva Knight 09-01-2014 02:48 AM

Love it! Where did you get the shelf units? Hubby is working on my sewing studio, hard to wait until it's finished. My thoughts are using units like that.

Prissnboot 09-03-2014 09:12 AM

I used to have that sewing machine - I called her Delilah, like that Tom Jones song, and I would sing it to her when she acted up: "Why, why why....Delilah? Why'd you maaaaaake me cry-ah?" She died and has been replaced, but it's a funny memory. Congrats on your new and clean space - look at the pics when you can't stand the creative mess to remember what it used to look like!

calla 09-05-2014 07:10 AM

Neat and tidy I am jealous, I need to rent you

BerninaGirl 09-05-2014 10:36 AM

Could you tell me what kind of table you have your sewing machine on?
Do you like it?
Do you remember how much it was?

The room is amazing, and the valances are amazing.

Thank you

needles3thread 09-05-2014 11:49 AM

I like your lady bug border on the walls and your pretty boxes on top of cabinet.

lizzy 09-17-2014 04:59 AM

Can you come for a visit to help me organize my sewing room like yours?. You did a great job. Love it.

nunnyJo 09-18-2014 02:40 AM

oh my, wish mine looked that good and love your sign by the way

bjsmith57 09-19-2014 08:13 AM

Very nice - thanks for sharing.

KSue 09-25-2014 11:36 PM

I honestly do not remember what brand it is but I found it online. It has a hole in it to fit your machine in but mine did not fit so it sits on top of the table. It has a permanent ruler on the front which I love this feature. It is on the small side but works well for me because I have my ironing board set up next to it. Makes it easy to sew and press. I am going to guess it was around $100 but cant remember.(sorry) Thanks for the compliments. The valances were purchased from JC Penny years ago.
