My messy sewing room - NO MORE
 

I have my messy sewing room cleaned up pretty good now - although I still need to go through baskets and boxes to cut my scraps into useable squares, but I figure that will take me quite a while so I will work on that in between projects. I am hoping my pictures will come through but if they don't I will try to post them tomorrow from work. I got sort of tired of standing up my fabric on the comic boards so I just went with the flow. I feel much better now and really like how the room now looks.

It is a beautiful room!! I cant wait to get mine done. Will be knocking a wall down between two small bdrms next month, when that is done I can paint and decorate and get ready for my longarm!! If memory serves me - I believe I found it at Walmart several years ago. I can't find anything on it that says who made it, but maybe Sauder. I have thoroughly enjoyed using it - perfect height for me plus the two ends fold down and there is storage on both sides and it is on rollers so it is easy to move around. Don't know if they still sell it or not.

I love your room - soooo neat and I love the color. I have the same cutting table and would not take for it - got it at Walmart some time ago and it is Sauder. If I ever find another one I will grab it up as my DH always wants to work on mine. It's the perfect height, love the storage, love that it rolls around and really love the the ends fold down, it's perfect and looks great in your sewing room. I have been working on getting my studio perfected for 2 years and not there yet, when it is you all will definitely be seeing pictures.

Looks great! Doesn't it feel so good when the clutter is gone and you step back and say - wow, I have nice stuff. Question though, for everyone - I notice in many of the rooms, that the sergers/sewing machine is right up against a wall. How do you sew when the machine and table are like that? I need my work area more of an island style.
