I made my own, no grid but it does the trick. Just got it up. Finishing up a quilt then I'll put it to good use. The tape is gone now. Just couldn't wait to try it out and snap a pic. I'm also rearranging my sewing room I'll post pics at a later date.

There's other possibilities and they don't have to be permanent ... just a few to start ... cover over your closet doors? back of the door into the room? temporarily tape it up with painter's tape on a hall wall? or any other wall in your home?

I used flannelette for my first one that I taped up and then tried polar fleece, which is what I used when I went permanent.

You are lucky to have a DH that can do things like that for you. What is your backing made out of?

He used 1/2" foam insulation from Home Depot.

My backing is made of the lighter weight Pellon fleece. The grid shows through.
