My new design wall

Here is my new design wall custom made by my DH. It is 72"x72." He did a great job. It will be in use before the end of the day.

yeahhhhhh nice one. I have one just smaller and it really need to be your size. will fix that soon. lol

awesome-I have no bare wall space big enough for one-so I use my bed.

That is a great design wall and I like the grid on it too. What did you use for the grid?

My hubby printed an excel spreadsheet with 2"X2" cells on an HP Designjet large format plotter. He's an engineer:o
I have quite a few things in my sewing room that he has custom engineered for me. I have been meaining to post sewing room pictures, but haven't gotten to it yet. Thanks for looking

Niiiiiiiice!!
You'll never regret it ... and will soon want to fill up that blank wall to the right with another design wall. Tartan ... you can buy a flannelette fabric with the grid on it. I believe it's 2" squares. When I took the OBW course, the LQS had design walls for everyone, and it was a real treat to work with the grid. If I didn't have my wall already installed, that'd be what I'd use. |
