The machine by the long arm is my upholstery machine. It came that way. I do car upholstery for our cars and some for our friends. The cabinet that houses my regular sewing machine are cabinets from Menards, that we stained and vanished and my DH put counter tops on them and cut a hole so my machine was at counter level. The other black cabinet are tool chests on rollers from Sear & Menards.

Your sewing studio is every quilter's dream. I also liked your old sewing room. It is luxurious to have two perfect places to sew and have fun.

Thanks everyone for taking a look at my sewing room.

As far as the outlets go, there are plenty, but some are ran by a switch so that I only need to turn off one switch and it turns off everything that is connected to that circuit. So if my sewing machine light is on when I leave the room, my iron is still on.

I don't have as much room or as many machines, but I do this same thing with my iron. The iron and one particular light are both on one surge protector. If the light is on, the iron is on!

I'm not sure that my dear hubby would let me have such a wonderful room to myself -- he'd be afraid that I'd never come out!
