WOW! Just love this.

Rose_P 03-02-2018 12:00 PM

That is great use of the space you have! I especially love the artwork on the undersides of the cutting table and machine table, and the dolls on the wall. It makes a charming guest room as well as a very functional work space.

Jules51 03-02-2018 02:52 PM

Great make-over. Enjoy all the comforts of that room!

sJens 03-02-2018 03:27 PM

Excellent work! I especially like that your room still does double duty.

MsHeirloom 03-02-2018 05:05 PM

You and your DGH have made a lovely and functional space. Many copy-worthy ideas in there. Congratulations and fun sewing!!!

Iraxy 03-02-2018 06:00 PM

When you need a place to do the stuff you like, creativity cannot be far away. Love your space!

Tiggersmom 03-02-2018 06:22 PM

I'm really impressed with your transformation......well done.

Jingle 03-02-2018 06:59 PM

WOW, you two together can really do some great things. Your room is gorgeous.

We improve mine as I think up things I want in there. My imagination isn't as good as it use to be.

ccthomas 03-02-2018 07:14 PM

What are the measurements for your sewing table?

Learning2Quilt 03-03-2018 03:29 AM

What you have done with that room is inspiring to me. My sewing area is in a loft above the garage and is not only used by me for sewing but for my husbands office and a guest room. My room also has angled in walls on two sides to make matters worse. Your make over has got the wheels spinning in my head Enjoy your new sewing room.

The table is 32" x 48" which still sounds small however, my dh did make a folding leg table which I use when I'm doing the actual quilting. This adds another 24" to the 32" side of the table. When I'm finished quilting I fold up the legs and store it behind the door.

Beautiful room with tons of innovations! You and the hubster are too clever! Love the caricature of the two of you, and all of your beautiful dolls. I have dolls in one of my sewing rooms, too. :o

deedum 03-03-2018 06:49 PM

Wow! Totally amazing. You have a fabulous room for sure!

Davena 03-04-2018 08:34 AM

Well they say, If there is a will , there is a way. and this proves it. You and your DH have done an amazing makeover that is so functional for both purposes. You always have to have a place for GC to come and have a sleep over, and you definitely need a nice and functional place to sew. Two birds with one stone. You really should post your room on Pinterest. Thanks for sharing and let your hubby know he did a great job and could probably be very busy , doing for every quilter in your area. lol

I'm a member of Pinterest but have never posted anything. I try to avoid going there, because it always takes 3 hours before I can find my way out again, lol.

Teen 03-04-2018 07:29 PM

This is a fantastic makeover! And it appears more spacious. Thanks for sharing your creativity. Your DH is a keeper...

stillvnu 03-04-2018 08:49 PM

What an amazing transformation! Lucky you ... enjoy!

luvstoquilt301 03-05-2018 08:30 AM

Your room is lovely. Mine is 8 x 8 but has a big closet. I am way more productive than friends who have HUGE rooms.

joyce888 03-05-2018 08:47 AM

OMG! What a transformation. Clever ideas that are close to some I’ve got going on. I’m the visionary and plan designer. My dh cannot cannot see the finished product.

maudeflanagan 03-06-2018 04:45 AM
