Any sewing room you can call your own is a GREAT room!! Enjoy!
|
Your room looks very well organized. Very nice!

Wow, impressive job with small space, so organized. I admire that.

Great little space! You did a wonderful job organizing it and making it efficient too.

I too have moved to the Phoenix area, into a smaller home. My sewing room is 10x10....and I share it with my husband's desk and file cabinet. I do spill out to my "outdoor sewing space" when I can. I have a folding cut table and machine desk both bought at JoAnn (and they live outside under the patio cover). Never realized how much room I really used when I had the entire basement complete with private bath!

Enjoy your new world. Love your sewing haven....don't need lots of space....more space means more stuff!

Very nice, and so inspiring... thanks for sharing!
This weekend I've been starting to build my own space too. I come from the same situation (quilting in the living room, and everything distributed for all the rooms and closets in the house. I even have the Ikea cart, and I use it the same way!) Like you, I also need to get my things tidy and handy, I can't work in a mess... so I've been re-arranging the furniture of a tiny and non-very-used room in order to transform it in a little paradise like yours :) It's hard, but I think it will be worth the effort. Your pictures are very encouraging for me, many thanks. |
thanks for sharing. We recently moved and I now have a small sewing room. Although it is light and bright the sun never shines directly into it and I look out onto tree tops, but, I am not convinced I have the best layout. So you have given me some good ideas.

Good organizing suggestions that I need to make part of my sewing environment.
