I agree with romanojg, life has a tendency to go too fast and not be our control. The only NYRs I make are to take a look at my inner being and ask myself, "How do other's see me?" "What would they say I should work on?" I also agree that family is very important and I'm slowly cleaning up the game/sewing room turned storage room so we can spend more time as family playing games up there (away from the t.v.)

Romanojg, it's hard to understand why other people push us out of their lives. It was her choice and you respected it. I don't know if I would have handled it differently because that might have increased intensity of the feelings. It's a shame your DD and others had to go through this. I sincerely hope this year is better for you.

Mine is after I make a quilt to make a few things with the left overs - scrap - placements, pillow cases, wall hanging with anything over 2 inches - I have done two so far...it feels so good not to be putting them in my scrap stash pile. I also plan on cutting up all my scraps in to square pieces any thing 5 inches and smaller. also to make more donations quilts for raffles for the Heart Assocation and the NEADS program with my 2 inch scraps - postage stamp quilts.
