I love the desk! Is that from IKEA? I want to put it on my wish list for when we rebuild our home!

Your space looks wonderful!!
Your space is great. I love the hardwood floors, much easier to clean up scraps and thread from hardwood than carpet.
Love your room. The before and after pictures - what a difference!
Nice spot! So neat & well organized.
What a wonderful set up you have in your space. And hardwood floors and a window to boot. Lucky you.
Pristine, clean & neat. I see great things coming out of your she-cave. Your one lucky lady.
Definitely lighter/brighter than b4, like what you did to improve your 'girl cave' ... looks great!
Do you always keep it so nice and neat/organized? if so, I'm green with envy! |
You did a great job.
Love that space!
What a transformation! Getting rid of large pieces of furniture is always difficult for me. I love the more modern and streamlined look of your new room. If it hadn't been for that unique window, I would neve have believed it was the same room.
I love your re-done sewing room. I am just in the planning stages of one, and I printed out the pictures on your blog since there are lot of good ideas that I will probably incorporate in my room. It really helped that you referenced Ikea as a source for some of the components. Enjoy your new room! I am sure you are the envy of many on this board.

Love your space! I'm redoing mine right now, too. I'm actually moving the sewing room from one of the smaller bedrooms into the "master" bedroom. I'll chronicle it when I'm done! :)

What a nice room. I'm sure you will be inspired to create great things there.

Hi Kathy, your room looks great and a little familiar! LOL Ikea is the way to go . Paula
Thank You!
Oh my, thanks for all the nice comments on my room! How nice of all of you! Paula, thank you in particular for sharing ideas (including the specific items you purchased from Ikea!) from your room months ago.
The stained glass has followed us everywhere we have lived for 35 years. It was made by a friend of my fathers so it is special to us. Hardwood floors...oh yeah. BIG improvement over cleaning up threads on the DARK GREEN carpet before! And rest assured, the room is not always this neat! I will say though that I have only been a manic quilter for one year, so my fabric collection is quite modest compared to most of you. So, that helps to keep the fabric storage under control. However, at the rate that I am adding fabric to my stash...this will all change soon! FLLady (and anyone else) - if I can provide any more detail for the source of items in the room, please send me a message, I would be more than happy to help. I promise to post again when I finish the room! |
