I do feel like I have space for more fabric. Oh darn, looks like I will have to go shopping. LOL Some of the space I gained is due to the fact that I got rid of some fabric and cut others into tumbler shapes for a scrap quilt. Prior to the reorganizing, I had oddly folded single pre-quilted fabric I have since used for the backing of placemats and some flannel I have used for the backing of baby bibs. I find having gone thru my fabric I now know better what I have - especially odd fabric for a quick project.

What a difference some boards make. It looks so neat and sure must be easier to locate what you are searching for when you go "a search'en".

I agree with your husband - looks like a great store to come in and browse. I think I am going to have to break down and do the same with my fabric. I am so envious of yours and others who have shown theirs.

You did a super job! It looks like you put a LOT of work into it, but now you have a beautiful, workable stash.

It only took me roughly 2 weekends to get it done. I first ordered 200 boards but that wasn't enough so I ordered 300 more. I now have some left over for future purchases! As I was working on the fabric, I kept telling myself that I would stop after doing a certain color, but I just kept going because it was looking so nice. I feel I am doing more sewing because my room is cleaned up. Haven't started on my books/patterns, but hope to this next week - if I quit piecing my next project.

Wish mine looked this organized. I have the space, but my ceilings come down to about 4 ft. from floor, so it limits what I can put in. You did a great job.
