Love your room. I bought the OTT floor light at Joann's when it was 50% off it is really bright and no glare. We also installed overhead florescents and use daylight bulbs, what a difference it made. If you do not have florescents you can get the new energy eff bulbs in the daylight and they really brighten up the room.

Thanks Brunswickgirl..I really, really need better lighting. That is my next think on the list. As for the plastic drawers...I modge podged them, it looks ok...but I am going to donate it to Goodwill...and get something that is better. I just done like it...waste of 59.99 - the drawers can not hold much and its still cheap looking.

I feel the same way about the plastic totes. Mine are stored away in a closet, but I have wondered about painting them with one of those specialty spray paint finishes, such as stone or wood. Just a thought, might be an alternative until you can find the right kind of shelf.

I have lots of stash...too much. I did clean out and got rid of a bunch of fabrics three bags last week, and two boxes and a huge trash bag full this weekend. I have enough fabric for life...I put them in clear bins, in my desk, and also a closet full upstairs of and a hope chest full of fabric. My roll of batting hangs in the cellar...Oh yeah I forgot more clear bins of fabric down there.Yikes...I better get moving on some more quilt tops. I am very glad to get rid of some...it does begin to get overwhelming. My clean room gets messy very quickly when I start a new project.
