Joann, you are a precious Yooper! I haven't been to Munising since moving back to Dickinson County, but have traveled through Manistique on US2 enroute to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and Cleveland, OH within the last handful of years. Manistique is so picturesque on Lake MI whether summer or winter. Thanks for sharing your plans and "you betcha" I was both surprised and pleased when I read your post.

Good for you!! The last time I organized in my sewing room this is what I found stashed here and there. Now it is all in one spot -- hanging from the shower rod in the 2nd bathroom. We never use the tub so it is the perfect spot to hang large pieces of fabric. These pieces are between 6 and 9 yards long and were purchased as backings for quilts. Now I can at least find them when I need them!

Wow, what a great system. I am organized as far as my fabric pieces go but my scraps are another story. Thanks for posting what you are doing. The ideas are worth trying that is for sure. Thanks again for sharing.
