Working on my comic board organizing. I think I have more hunks and chunks of fabric than yardage. Have only 10 boards left, bought package of 100 on Amazon, so today will look at what was wrapped and add another short length to either top or bottom of board. I'm thinking some skinny boards just may have 3 colors wrapped.

Today and for the next several days I will be organizing my quilt storage. I have 3 labels printed out and ready to sew on to quilts. I also have a bolt of muslin and pool noodles ready to be turned into quilt storage. Today I will get the labels stitched down and hopefully will get a bit of a start making the coverings for the pool noodles and bags that they slip into on e the quilts are rolled around them. I’ve got 6 retired show quilts that I need to make these for, so it will take me a couple of days to get them finished.

I also want to have a rethink about where I actually store the quilts once they are wrapped around their pool noodles and slipped into their muslin bags. I’m hoping to find some space in the walk in closet, but that will require moving some of my paintings to another location...

Took a break from comic board folding and started a quilt for Project Linus. Now, ask me I dare you, did I take fab from my newly organized fabric? Nope! Decided to use Jelly Rolls that I don't like now and started making HST. This morning I discovered I forgot what a mess I make while starting a new project. Did take background fabric from a board though...lol Did take background fabric from a board though...lol

Goal is to sew on this quilt until Sat and then back to the tubs. Sewing is my reward for organizing well done...LOL

Oh I so could have written your message....I love thrift stores & repurposing and the creative ideas just take over....We must be strong lol
Because I had been tested for covid Christmas Eve day we had to delay our small gift exchange until this Thursday but you better believe by Friday evening Christmas decor will be back in storage-thankfully I didn't go hog wild & just put out a few items.
I did manage to move all the Accuquilt dies to a different more accessible location in my sewing room.
Hopefully, as I continue to get well my mojo comes back-crossing fingers.
You guys keep me motivated so keep posting, please.

Oops, I just bought a Christmas tree, and a bunch of decor for my 3-season porch. I 'needed' the extra tree and decor. lol

I now have an inside tree (Victorian with all handmade ornaments) and a new 'outside' Winter tree (all Tomte Gnomes).

I'll take down the inside Christmas tree over New Year's but plan on leaving the Winter tree up for awhile yet. We need the festive lights for the dreary months of January and February.

I think I maybe should have continued to go thru tubs rather than sewing for a couple days. I forgot how big of a mess I can create. OMG !!! BUT when I walk into the fabric room and see all that fabric standing up, I feel so proud.
Have I mentioned when I found fab that had lots of yards, I fold around a comic board but when done folding, pulled the board out. These mini bolts stand up just fine nestled between other board-folded fabric.
