Sweet honesty! 😄

I did yard cleanup and plant care stuff today and worked some more on this blankety-blank "Mocha Stars" some more. I tell ya, when I get done with this one, you're gonna hear me screechin' and doin' the happy dance, all over the country.

I should have just done all the flowers and leaves and berries by hand - it would have taken a lot longer, but it would have been a lot easier than wrestling the whole quilt around in 1" circles in a very small throat space! Gahhhhh!

I’m downsizing my basement. Almost done with the large room then going through the guest bedroom next. Last will be my sewing room. Everything out, down with new flooring, then toss, sort, keep & put it back again. By then weather will be good outdoors so I’m cleaning under the deck. Way past time & I'm on a roll !!

tranum: Wow! Keep the momentum going!

I pulled out a couple boxes from under my landing crawl space-toys and stuffed animals. I threw most of the animals in the washer and sorted through the toys. I have been looking up values of some of the toys and now I need to decide if I save them and, eventually, try to sell them or just donate them to a fundraiser. Some things have already been tossed. I know there are boxes/tubs with antique dishes, candy and decorative bowls, glasses, and who knows what else that hasn’t seen the daylight for 34 years when we moved. 🤷‍♀️ I know I purchased some from auctions and others were from our wedding in 1973. So the glassware is old! Lol!

I'm organizing my purse. Take out all the trash, extra papers, old stuff (needed eye drops and they were dried up), stuff that won't pass on airplane (pocket knife). Add essentials; glucose tabs, snacks. At least once a quarter, this should be done.

petthefabric: Yes it is good to clean out the purses regularly. Definitely remember to leave the pocket knife at home! 🙂. I haven’t flown much, but years ago, I forgot I had a folded scissors in my purse. I can’t remember if I had to toss it or if I could put it in my luggage. 🤷‍♀️

Default Spices!

Time to organize my spice cupboard. I usually buy in Bulk, so have a bunch to store.
