Default Airing of the Quilts in Tunkhannock, PA - October 6th

A few of our quilt guild members will be going to this event Saturday. Does anyone on the list have any information about quilt shops in this area? It is near Clarks Summit. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

This will be a wonderful event. There is a quilt shop on the outskits of town."Endless Mountain Quiltworks" It is the shop owner that sponcors this wonderful event. She is really one of the nicest people I have ever met and what a grea shop!
As for other shops, I read of two but not near by, however there will be vendors at this event. I think if you google quilt shops in north east Pa. something will come up. I too will be traveling to this show. I am heading out of NJ. I have missed it the past two years and can not wait for saturday. I hope this info helps Have safe travel and a wonderful time

I found 10 shops when I did a google search on "Tunkhannock PA quilt shops." Be sure to call first, because many shops are closed on Sundays.

I drove through Tunkhannock on my way home from Philadelphia today. Too bad I missed the actual quilt show (which is in 3 segments - one is all male quilters!), but all of the shops and offices on main street had quilts on display in their window.

Endless Mountain Quiltworks is a great shop. Shores Quilt Shop is also very nice - just opened in April. It's up the road from Tunkhannock on Route 6. (www.shoresquiltstop.com) In between is Sanford and Sons Antiques and Collectibles. OH MY!!! Quite the place, but fun to wander through.

It's held every year on the first Saturday of October. Hopefully next year, I'll be able to go on the day of the actual show.

A bonus - the trees were so amazingly beautiful, they were almost a distraction while driving!
