Hello,
I'm hoping someone on the Quilting Board might be able to help me out...
I'm looking for a creative (and experienced) quilter in the Appleton, Wisconsin area to consult with and possibly help me design a prototype for a new product I'm considering building a business around. I tried to create a prototype myself, but failed miserably as my only experience with a sewing machine was in 8th grade Home Ec, although the pillow I made was pretty awesome
Anyway, I'm looking for someone in the area who is creative and has some quilting experience to evaluate the idea and determine whether or not it is even feasible from a design standpoint. If we determine it is feasible, we'll then need to determine the best possible way to approach the project... I'm sure there will be some trial and error
To be honest, I'm not entirely certain that a quilter would be the best match for a project such as this, but I'm quite confident someone on QB will be able to point me in the right direction!
I'd be happy to buy coffee at Copper Rock, Starbucks etc. to discuss the details of this project with anyone who is interested, so feel free to reply/PM if you might be interested in what I believe to be a pretty fun and rewarding project.
Thank you very much for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you!
Frank
