Hi from Carmel, Indiana!

If you're in Anderson, you're not far away at all.

Did you join the Indianapolis guild? We just moved here last July, and I just joined in January. It's pretty impressive--several hundred members and they bring in well-known quilters to speak and then do workshops the next day or two.

The Bloomington show a month or so ago was amazing, and I'm told it's that good every year.

Look forward to meeting you!

Hi,

We will need to try to set a day for all of us to meet. I am in Fairmount (Grant County), Indiana.

I am now 53 years old, married, but no children but we have a cute spoiled dog. I am still working on my 1st quilt which is an Eleanor Burns quilt in a day Lovers Knot pattern which I am now machine quilting.

I learned how to make the hexagons and made a cute pincushion cover. I want to make a hexagon lapquilt as they are so fun to make. I am looking for other small projects to learn to quilt.

I hope to chat with more of you and welcome any Indiana friends!

Karen

Hi all from Columbus, IN! I just stumbled across this site while searching for patterns and quilting tips. I'm definitely a beginning quilter, with a desire to learn. My grandmother quilted, and made many beautiful pieces. I hope to follow in those footsteps.

Looks like we're going to get snow dumped on us tonight through friday... I told hubby that I'd have to buy some fabric along with eggs, bread, etc. if we're going to be snowed in. Since my nintendo Dsi is in for repairs, I'll HAVE to sew something! I hope the rest of you hoosiers take the storm in stride :) I forgot to add that I'm actually a native Michigander, just a transplant here, but this is where I planted my roots.

HI! I'm in NW Indiana and love the quilt shows here. Chicago's (Rosemont, IL) is in APRIL. I'm sure I'll make it this year if anyone wants to get together.
SharonB lives near a great quilt shop called Ericas. I have been trying to get over that way & am hoping for some great weekend weather soon. A quilt shop or show is the perfect reason for a little road trip, don't you think?

Yes, we need to find a place that Indiana quilters can meet. That would be so much fun.

I am ready for warmer weather, tired of this snow.
