I am on the road in this lovely area right now, and was wondering if there is anyone who has some basting spray they would be willing to let me use for a small child's quilt. If you don't mind, I'm willing to come and use it on your driveway or anywhere (if you care to meet me someone instead). If not, perhaps you have a suggestion. I sure hate to spend money for a whole can when I won't be able to take it with me and only need it this one time. Appreciate your time and help. PM me for phone number.

Thanks, but I can probably buy the can cheaper than the gas! Except for the company of course. Would love to meet you. Let me see what happens. It would at least Monday anyway.

My DH grew up in this area. They lived in something like 8 houses cuz his Dad would buy them, fix them and sell them. And he can (much to my dismay) take me to see every one of them, including the empty field where one of them used to be. Yeah!

Thank you all for your responses and offers to help, but my Sis IL found some at Walmart and bought it for me. No cost to me. Yeah! I spray basted it yesterday and intend to tie it as my quilting style since it's a Noah's ark animal print with a perfect pattern for tie quilting about 3-4" apart. Since I don't have a machine here, I bought double wide bias tape (almost exact match for backing) to bind it. Want to finish it this weekend so I will have all 4 of my quilts for her kids and other sis IL done! Sure will feel good to have all that out of the way.
