The Asheville Quilt show will be August 6-8 at the North Carolina Arboretum at Asheville. It is a beautiful state owned facility of native plants and bonsi. They also plant a group of areas for a quilt garden! OH MY it is so pretty... just beside the Blue Ridge Parkway! The first link shows a pic of the quilt garden planted in four patches!
The second link give info about the show.
Hope to see you there! Blessings.

I went to this show a few years ago... It is a lovely location and I saw some awesome quilts. My only regret is that I didn't qualify for the weight limit so I could take the trail tour on a Segway.

Oh!! I lived the in asheville area for some time. (fairview) and my sis was in black mountain and my aunt in canton. I loved it there. But, my favorite place in all the area was biltmore. How fun to shop there!
The area yo ulive in is beautiful and you are a lucky girl to be there.
I wish I could go to the show, but I hope you share your pictures with us.
