To the Spring Fling Shop Hop this weekend.
It was my first one. My daughter and I went to 5 out of the 8 shops. It was so fun, seeing all the great shops and meeting the staff members. Seeing all of the great quilts in person.
The shop we thought was really cool was Bears Quilt Shop in Garden Grove. It is run by 3 men. They are so knowledgeable. And take the time to answer questions. I will be going back there again. Plus it's only a couple miles from my house. hehehe
Just remembered. They die fabric too. And it is beautiful. They will die it for the back of your quilt, no seams.
I can't wait for the next shop hop.

Our "Central Coast Quilters Run" is the first weekend in June. I usually go on that with my friends. I think there are 11 shops this year. Have done as many as 15 in two days!

It was fun. Everyone at all the shops were so nice. And had some great things on display. I hope to try some of the patterns they gave us, this week.
There is a big quilters run here in June as well. There are stores from San Diego up to Thousand Oaks. I think there is something like 40 stores. It goes for 2 weekends. Don't know how much of that I will do. Guess it depends if I can go with a group. I think that would be fun too. Plus can split the gas cost more.

It sounded like a lot of fun. I live a little too far, Florida. I would enjoy something like that.
