Houston Quilt Show 2023
Ok. Now is the time for you to help me spend some of money. Should I plan to go to the Houston Quilt show this year? I love taking classes while at shows. Will I find it hard to get the classes I want (I think registration opens next month — July).

I've been 4 times. The last time I went, it was with my friend Cindi, and we both signed up for classes with Danny Amazonas and Yoko Saito. Thought for sure we would not get into the classes, especially Yoko, because she only had 20 spots available. But to our amazement and delight, we both got in! And the classes were AWESOME!!!
Get the class catalog, figure out what classes you want to take, and sign up as soon as registration opens. You never know!

I go every year to the Houston Quilt Festival. I used to take classes. If you check the quilts.com website and make your selections early, you have a good chance of getting the classes you want. They also have a spot upstairs where you can buy spaces from other people in classes. Good luck. Hope to see you there.

If you can, why not?? I'd love to go, but as we live in the northeast, that's unlikely.
The class list alone is amazing, and the quilts will be so fascinating and inspiring. The vendors will have lots of temptation for you, too!
I say go, then post lots of pictures for the rest of us to live vicariously!
