Yes, the people of Paducah and all the wonderful quilters I met and talked to made it a great trip. Even got Eleanor Burns' autograph on one of her very old books.

Note that those who went Saturday to the show reported fewer people and therefore smaller crowds than during the week.

Agreed - lovely town and a great show. I did not get the the Eleanor Burns show, but the weather on Saturday was just horrible. I'm sure that had an effect on the turnout.

I went with friends to the show on Thursday and it was very busy. Friday we went to QID, AQS and Hancocks even with the rain. Can't keep real shoppers down. All three of those places were very busy. I have been twice now and have been impressed with how friendly the town is to the quilters. Of course it is great for their economy and bad on our bank accounts.
