Smile looking for a quilting buddy in central wisc

Hi all, I live about 50-60 north of Madison, and am looking for someone that is not working full time to get together with to quilt and do other quilt related things. Or just to talk on the phone. whatever you would like to do, I have just retired, so I have more time to devote to my favorite past time. Thanks for looking at my post. Carolyn

Put "Quilt Guilds - wisconson" in your search - there are a few sights there. One lists many of the guilds by city. Maybe you can find one that is near and has the meeting times that suit you. Go for a meeting and see which one you enjoy most. They all run their meetings a little different. Good luck and enjoy.

Spend time at your local quilt shop - you will find people picking out fabric, patterns, needing guidance. Take a few classes - you will make new friends. Maybe a local church has a group that meets to make quilts. Quilters luk everywhere!!
