Default Mancuso shows

Would love to go North during heat of summer. Anyone been to the shows in Ohio and Michigan? How about classes?

My friend in Michigan loves the big show in Duluth, I think it is one of the Paduch series. dates would be on their website I expect.
You also wanted to go to Alisamar (spelling?) I think you have cabin fever

I went to the Mancuso show in Orlando (BC - Before Covid) I remember it as being interesting but a half day show. Maybe the Northern Shows are bigger?

PIQF in Santa Clara, Ca before Covid was 6 days. Because the date was always very close to Houston show, it was amazingly lg. it’s still cancelled this year.

I’m spoiled. Ca has huge quilting community.

Has this show been cancelled? I thought the dates were announced for 2023, but now I see that the dates are “to be announced.”

I would be so disappointed if it is cancelled this year. I signed up last but had to cancel at the last minute when my dog got sick. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

PIQF is worth the effort. Taking classes made me feel enmeshed in the event. And staying at the host hotel is high priority to me. I’d have lunch and a rest at my room and avoid the busiest time of day at the festival. And parking has gotten difficult with Levi stadium events taking much parking. One year we used Uber when the football game was at the stadium. It drove us to the front door.

PIQF was resumed in fall 2022- it was held in either Sept. or Oct. 2022 which is the usual time frame. Not sure why it is listed as dates to be announced for 2023 since they held it in 2022. Maybe there was some conflict with booking the venue.
