Where is Chesterfield? Are you down by Ann Arbor? There should be plenty in that area. Ask at your local quilt store. McBain - in the northwestern part, near Cadillac, will have a good one in the fall. There have to be others.

Wonderful quilt show will be in Marshall, Michigan toward the end of March-I think March 26. The chamber will know. Also, the quilt shop will be open and has a great selection of batiks. Also, in September at the Home Tour in Marshall, there is a quilt show-that is bigger than the March show and very nice.

The Oakland County Quilt Guild always has one the weekend after Easter. It is held in a church in Lake Orion & Romeo is going to have one this spring also. I am not sure of the dates but am sure the local quilt shops will post the information again as they are going to be one of the vendors and they posted the information last year and when I tried to find more information on it is when I discovered it was a mark your calendar date for 2011. A few of the quilt shops email address that are vendors at the shows are:
[email protected]
www.thevillagequiltshoppe.com
[email protected]
They are all local to our area, I live in Shelby Twp. The last email address does not look right but I copied and pasted it from her latest news letter.

Hi! I lived in eastern Michigan for 30 years and western Michigan for 30 years before moving to Minnesota a few years ago. I had to do LOTS of asking and searching to find quilt shops and shows in this area.
I googled "Michigan quilt show 2011" and had many hits. Here are a few:
http://michiganquiltnetwork.com/shows_exhibits.htm
http://miquiltresources.blogspot.com...ilt-shows.html
http://cameoquilters.org/-.html
http://www.wrbqinc.com/events-mi.php
Try googling the above and add a city name. ex. "Michigan quilt show 2011 Port Huron"
Hope this helps! Have fun searching!

Hi again! For some reason I couldn't send my whole message,so here are some more ideas. 8 > )
Quilt shops will usually have flyers in their windows or on their counter for upcoming quilt shows.
I have never been able to find all the shows listed in one place. Some of the smaller shows may not be posted on the internet. During my search for the Twin Cities, I wrote down all the information I found and kept it in a folder. I also kept quilt show flyers in the folder because quilt guilds have a tendency to have their shows at about the same time each year or every other year. Before traveling too far, I suggest you call and double check about the times and dates.
I frequently heard there is a large Ann Arbor guild that puts on a great show. I don't have any details though.
While happily surfing the net, I also found a list of Michigan quilt guilds.
http://www.quiltguilds.com/michigan.htm
On the left side of the page, there is a link to "shows listed by month". There are shows listed for other states, but some may show up for Michigan.
Enjoy the shows!
