Moore's Sewing Centers is hosting The Stitching Sisters - Eileen Roche (Editor of DESIGNS in Machine Embroidery magazine) and Marie Zinno (Author).
It is a 2 day event where attendees will learn 50 machine embroidery techniques. There will be a CD with all of the designs and instructions to take home, along with prizes, book signings, and special offers.
I am not affiliated...just a fan of Moore's and the events they host. These events are a great way to learn about your machines embroidery potential...plus they are fun because you meet and make friends with some great women and men.

They also are doing an event at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Garden Grove on Tuesday and Wednesday May 3rd and 4th.
Are you thinking of coming? Would love to meet you.

Oh, I'm sorry the timing is all wrong. I hope your surgery goes well. My Mom has had both knees done (3years apart) and recovered very well. The physical therapy makes all the difference. {{{hugs}}}

I was looking at this. I get emails from them. Went to the New location yesterday. If I do go it would be the Tues./Weds. one. I have a 2 day scrapbook event on the 30th and May 1st. I have to find out if my Brother that does 4x4 will work for the stuff they will be teaching.

They will be providing the embroidery/sewing machines so you won't have to bring yours. Of course if they have you stitching out larger designs...you might be tempted to buy a new machine with larger hoops :lol: :lol: :lol: That is exactly what they hope happens :lol: :lol: :lol:
These events are teaching events, but also "selling" events. If someone really is in the market for a new machine, you can get a very good price at these events, but no one is obligated to buy. I resist very well ;)
