Love Mountain Quiltfest! There are also some great quilt shops in the area (Mountain Stitches by Susan, The Cherry Pit, Red Barn Quilts, Holloway's, Pappy's Quilting Place, Machine Quilting by Iva - don't let the name fool you - tons of fabric!) Even more in Knoxville. Another bonus - the beauty of the Smoky Mountains!!!

I live in Kentucky, but 2 of my sisters and my daughter and myself will be there. Love this show. Classes are affordable, although a lot were sold out before 10 am on opening day for registration, crowds are not bad, hotels are a lot cheaper than some of the other shows. I have not missed this one for about 4 years.

I should have know it was around the 17th, that's my birthday & I've celebrated a few birthdays while at this show.
