NQA Quilt Show in Columbus, OH
#1
Is anyone else going to this? I'll be there tomorrow, well, guess it's today, Friday anyway. I went two years ago, but wasn't able to go last year. I'm so looking forward to it. I wish I could go for the entire time and take some of the classes and attend the lectures and all the rest, but that just wasn't possible this year. But at least I'll get to see the quilts and perhaps stop at a vendor booth or two (lol).
My daughter and two granddaughters, ages 8 and 5, are going with me. I don't know if the girls are really up to looking at quilts all day, but they'd better be. I'm a loving grandma, but tomorrow I'm going to be looking at quilts:!: My DD asked me today if I was planning to stay all day. I said, gently, but firmly, yes.

I went there this past Thursday with my sister-in-law. We had an absolutley wonderful time. It was the first time that I had ever been to a really large quilt show. The work was absolutely amazing. It was also good to go to the various vendor booths. I felt like they were totally out of my league, but I will continue to quilt and have fun because that is what it is all about.

Went to the show Friday with my daughter who lives in Columbus. We had a great time although our feet were very tired after all that walking. The quilts on display were nothing less than magnificent! I'll try to post a couple of pics. I did purchase a cat panel and a 3 coordinating fabrics. Now just have to figure out how to use them! Didn't really find any bargains on fabric. Watched a demo on binding that I think I will use next time. Again, the quilts were awesome!

I wanted to go this year but I just coud not do it. I go for a few days and it gets expensive. (last week we had our local shop hop and spent way too much). I enjoyed it so much last year, so I'm sure it was spectacular. I know you wil enjoy.

We had a wonderful time. I loved looking at all the quilts and sharing them with my daughter and granddaughters. My granddaughters did surprisingly well. My youngest granddaughter was fascinated with the quilts; she even drew a quilt on the way home. We took lots of pics, and I hope to post some in the next couple weeks. It will take a little extra time because I got admitted to the hospital last Tuesday for iv antibiotics for an infection.
