"A Gathering of Quilters" quilt show is being held March 18-19, 2011 at the Patrician Banquet Center, 410 E. U.S. Hwy 30, Schererville, IN 46375. Friday evening, 5-9pm, is a champagne reception with a nationally recognized speaker. Over 40 vendors of quilting supplies will be open both days. The actual juried/judged show opens on Saturday, 9am-4pm, an exhibit of quilts will be displayed by Heritage Quilters and there is a "Just Imagine" Quilt Challenge open to the public for entry. I went to this show in 2009. Beautiful quilts, great speaker and vendors. Am planning to go this year.
