Pat and I went yesterday. Felt like we were cutting class - lol. OMG, it was my first visit to a big show and we got totally overwhelmed. So many colors, textures, sounds, people, patterns...... I spent a lot more time looking at the different quilting patterns.
Our Borntoquilt Andrea from Germany has a blue ribbon quilt in the exhibit. Lots of wonderful additions. I thought that the vendors on the left side were set up too close to each other and it was difficult to move through. Since I don't have a baseline, I can't judge how the vendors stack up.
I bought fabric (FQs and a frog kit), two rulers, and a lint picker upper that rinses in hot water, and fix-it powder with a fiberglass press cloth.

Getting ready to head down there in about an hour. I've been many times before so I'm pretty used to the crowds, etc. I've made my list and have my 'need to find more of/like' stuff with me. My friends and I bring a cooler with our lunch and some snacks so we can take a break and spend more inside.
We're heading to Chili's on El Camino Real afterward. Maybe we'll see you there.

I love the PIQF but every year, I want to go home and throw all my sewing stuff directly in the trash. I look at those beautiful quilts and think, "What the hell made me think I was a quilter?" Then I think twice and go home inspired!

Boo hiss. I don't think I'm making it. I simply have too much neglected work here like decorating for Halloween and finishing my second greenhouse. Post pics everyone! If you can't take pics inside then for sure what you buy!
