I'm from Lancaster. You won't be disappointed with the show. Here's their website that will answer all your questions.

Maybe we should put a label on one of the tables where you eat, quiltingboard people stop here! Wouldn't that be fun!

They have classes you can sign up for ahead of time, and they
have just some you can just sit in on demonstrations, wear
comfortable shoes, it is a lot of walking. It is almost overwheming, fabric, notions, demo's quilts everywhere, you will love it.

Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!!!!
Thanks for the hint on the confortable shoes.

Hi Terry,

I'm just south of the canal, Middletown area. I haven't decided whether I'm going to drive up for just the day or stay overnight and spend 2 days at the show.

I plan to go too if I don't have to stay with my friend while her hubby is operated on. She was in a car wreck and has a crushed ankle, broken ribs and a broken arm. Arm is coming along good. Her hubby has cancer of the p---- and this is his third operation, this time at a different hospital and doctors. He is very very nervous about this, jokes a lot about it though. Hopes he has good looking nurses holding it. I am from DE too, Pike Creek Valley in Wilm. Hope to see you all there.

Welcome, LeonMom, from just across the border in Kennett Square.

You'll love the quilt show! It can be overwhelming, though. You may want to take a look at the information and decide on one or 2 areas to concentrate on. Really not possible to take it all in if you are there for one day.

I'm just North of the C&D - right at the very end of Bear (896 and Porter Road). We are going to AQS on the 17th. I think we will skip the part of the first floor as that's where all the mega-thousands of dollars long arm quilting machines are. I believe there were about 6 floors of dealers, and it is correct you cannot see all of it in one day. If you try you will just end up on a walk-a-than to see how fast you can get through all the floors! It is easier to pick out what you really want to see, and see them first. Then, if there is time left for you, go back and add some things in. It's pretty easy to do this with a directory in-hand.
