Try Fancygappottery.com. They started as an antique mall and had some local crafts and craft items. They expanded to a fabric outlet. The fabric was some that was carried in Walmart and some other discount stores. They also have apparel fabric, great floral supplies, and mill end yarns (at one time). The stock changes but I try to go there whenever I can. It is south of Roanoke heading toward Wytheville. You exit onto Interstate 77 from Interstate 81 south and get off at exit 8 if I remember correctly. It, as I said, is near Wytheville and in Wytheville is Sew What Batiks. Sew What Batiks is not a discount store but is one store that you have to see to believe. It has many lines of fabric for a LQS but its specialty is batiks. The place absolutely amazes me whenever I go there. Just a few suggestions. Have fun if you are headed to southwest Virgina.

I wish we had one near me too!

I miss all my Hawaiian printed fabrics. quiltshawaii.com |

A lot of them are closed on Saturday, but really worth a trip on the weekdays. Be sure to visit the clearance room at Golden D'Or |
