Also, in Alachua, which isn't that far from Gainesville, is a quilt shop called Buttons and Bows. They have a nice selection with some sale shelves and next door is The Main Street Pizza and I highly reccommend you visit them.
Go around noon, as they close for a bit at 2:30 pm. Open Tuesday through Saturday. Delish! and lovely murals on the walls. Nice atmosphere and better than p. hut any day!
