Grammie Sharon planned for us a nice day to shop at two quilting shops in the THUMB.(Michigan) There were 6 of us from the QB, and then after today, the others who joined us for the shop hop will soon be on the QB. There were Grammie Sharon, two of Sharon's friends, newbie quilters Ann and Mary Ann, burnsk, Dquiltingguy, Chuckbere15, Chuck's Mom Marlene (?), and myself, grmamrtha1. A good time was had, and lots of money was spent by all. Thanks, Sharon, for all the work, phone calls, planning and fellowship.

We did have a blast and a half. Both quilt shops we visited did presentations for us and one shop had coffee and scrumptious goodies (calorie free of course HAHA) the owner had made. Despite the weather we all had a good time. As soon as I can get hold of the cord for my camera I will download the pictures on the thread. We sure did boost the economy for those 2 shops. :thumbup:
