I didn't get my flyer for the Novi Sewing Expo this year. Had heard from a couple of people that last years' wasn't that great; that there were alot of empty booths and classes were not good. Does anyone else have input? Hate to send in the $$ and then find out it sucks. Thanks.

Hello Sue, My sister is coming out from Washington and we will be there at the Novi Expo on Friday. We should all (all that are going) meet up, perhaps at the eating area about 1PM just to meet and chat.

Carol, where is that store at in Brighton, I see on GR but what is it near? I live in Howell. My name is Emmy. I always love a new store especially when it includes fabric!!

Emmy, a bunch of us got together today in Clare. Had a blast. There were 6 of us. We want to meet again next month in Brighton at Carol's shop and see how many more board members can make it. Would love to have you join us. It is open to all board members, the more the merrier. Today we went to 2 shops in Clare and one in Mt. Pleasant. Next month go to Brighton, Howell and any place else close that has a shop. Can you recommend any? By 4:00 we were all headed home. We're thinking the following month of going to Bay City. By moving around the state we can get more board members together. It's so much fun to meet.

Craftybear is planning another meet in Shipshewanna, I think Oct. 19. It would be fun to get a bunch together to car pool. I'm in Ann Arbor.

Me I want to go lol I always want to go. I can come down to Ann Arbor and we can go from there. Who else is coming. I can take a few with me I have a van. Cost will be miminal if we car pool.

Had a great time today. (my back says want to bet rofl it is a party pooper.) I got some great fabric for hubby's quilt that I might make for Christmas or his birthdasy in April. :roll:

This was my second greet and meets with forum members and it is so much fun finally meeting peple we either talk to or listen to here.
