Hi, Orange City Quilter, one of our daughters is visiting from south east Iowa, and today we went to Roelof's in Sioux Center. Where do you get your fabric? I really like scrap quilting the best, it is too hard to choose only four or five fabrics for a whole quilt (for me, that is) so I pick a color scheme and use whatever suits my eyes. Me, too. All my life. Marengo, but not always. Chelsea and Brooklyn before this. Grinnell was my shopping spot when we lived in Brooklyn. Judy Martin lives in Grinnell.

I was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and grew up in Neola, Iowa. Now I live in Oregon, and someday will move to Kansas.

I grew up in Waukee, just west of Des Moines, left for Kansas and now live in the Kansas City MO area. Iowa will always be home to me!

I am from West Union- in NE Iowa and am so fortunate to have 20 quilt shops w/in 2 hrs of me; am in the 'heart' of several shop hops as well. Am lucky to be living my dream- a Longarm Quilting Studio and Retreat besides my M-F 8-4:30 job....life is very good here :). Deb
