NO kidding, mine dropped me off and went to have my car serviced but he did come in after the group broke up to eat Pizza but we visited with Bob and NIta and Joanieu a while. He is so bashful.

just 'bit the bullet' and come anyway. I can already tell that everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. I will definitely try and make the next one. I thought I would enclose the links to pics of me and 3 other ladies from the QB that I got to meet in NYC in early December. We went to two quilt shops, and Mood, and had lunch. It was a blast. Looks like great fun was had by all! I would love to try to come to the next one. Please let me know when & where. Even tho I am retired, I am raising a grandson & sometimes his activities get in the way of mine. I do plan to go to the Dallas Quilt Show. Haven't been in several years. Please keep me informed.

This is great... our group is getting larger.... yippeee... can't wait to meet more friends... :) Well, work is slow this morning so I can try to read what is going on :)

Mark the calendars. Teh next one is March 12, saturday. Location yet to be disclosed. Checking on somewhere with a private room as we decided to bring show and tells too. SO mark the calendars. Every other month is what we are doing. In between those meetings, you can of course get together at houses. Grannyp70 will be posting more. Stay tuned......
I also have a retreat going at the Quilts inn in Granbury May20-22 YOu can look it up and see where on houstonstmercantile.com and then slick on retreat. It's gonna be fun. ONly sleeps 12 and we have 7 already. The one's I know for sure are NP3,Joanieu, Grannyp70, GaiGai,Kwhite,Ducky, Suekitten1, Jazway. We have 4 coming from out of state so more like a QB retreat, not just Texas. ANd you can drop in during the day saturday to just visit if you are CLose, let me know so I will expect you. PM me for more info. Guess we can have sleepingbags too. That's a thought. LOL |
